One Book To Connect Us
What is it?
The premise is simple; we pick a book to read aloud to our students within an established period of time (usually between 6 to 8 weeks) and during that time we try to make as many connections within, and across schools in RCSD, as possible. Participants share their responses and reflections through Flipgrid.
The aim is to increase literacy and to create a reading culture by providing opportunities for students and teachers to become more socially engaged in their school and RCSD community through a shared story.
